Man, after a day of off roading it's amazing how much crap, etc get in-behind the fender flares. This got me thinking about adding some kind of drain holes to aid in removing the shtuff in there when flushing the area with a hose. Anybody ever done this?

I never had a problem with too much stuff getting stuck behind the flares, but you're right, it's not impossible to get gunk loaded up back there.

My flares are gone now...but I never thought about drain holes. Seems like any liquid might flow out on its own from the bottom.

Considering mud can stick to the underside of a surface defying gravity not sure what drain holes are going to do for you?

I was thinking to aid in cleaning when flushing the area with a hose. It's amazing the about of crap that comes out of that area when directing a hose up into the space between the body and fender flare. One would think that all that retained gunk would not be good on the paint and possibly promote rust.
