I put the thick ones in that spot. Did you have to add a spacer under your poly mounts as well?

I am putting in the same mounts in my 78 today. I put in the 3/8" spacer like the ome ones but found the mounts just behind were not touching so made one a 1/4" and every thing seems to fit alright.

I found some old conveyor belt material that's tougher than nails and cut it into squares to go under my front body mounts. The material is 1/2" thick. I loosened every thing on the drivers side but still not enough room to fit my new spacer in. The whole body is coming off the frame and still I can't fit it underneath. I'm not sure what's going on here. From the frame to the bottom of the support flange is 1" thick without the spacer. I thought my 1/2" spacer would be a little thin if anything. :bang: back to the thick washer?

I measure mine for ya.

1 3/16" is the measurement you cannot see here.

It is from the bottom of the tub bracket to the arm.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the help! I used the shims from the running boards under my front body mounts because they're thinner than my home made ones. Total thickness came out just like you measured. Then I used my 1/2" thick home made ones for under the running boards. Worked perfect and now my fenders line up reasonably well. Time for
Thanks for the effort getting in there and measuring all that for me!!
