Hey all, my last post was mixed. I'm the NE and being told this is normal for a car in the NE, so I got more pics. I went under and wacked everything with a hammer and it all stayed together! (lol) lmk you're thoughts and opinions with this.

That doesn't look bad but if its worth it depends on what the price is. Most of the trucks in northern NJ will probably look like this or worse

Although for those of us from AZ and CA this may look unacceptable, I think you have nothing to worry about, my friend. Especially if you're going to drive it in NE. If you really want to have it look good, try POR15 treatment. I have heard it helps to keep rust at bay.

Looks really good IMO. I picked up a 2004 GX with 67k a couple of months ago that spent all of its life in DC/MD area and it looks slightly better than the photos you posted. I wouldn't worry about that rust at all, nothing a weekend with a wire brush/some corroseal couldn't fix.
