Ok all

I took my 09 LC to one of those quick change places yesterday and the change oil message is still popping up on my dash. Does anyone know the trick for resetting it?

try turning the key to the on position without starting the engine. hold the trip reset button down for 10 seconds until the Maintenance light flashes. release. push and hold again until it turns off.

Step 1: from the ODO button above the left side of your steering wheel, you scroll to Trip#1.

Step 2: press and hold the ODO button to reset Trip #1, keep holding and shut the rig down

Step 3: without letting go, turn on car - but DO NOT start (foot off the brake pedal, and hit "Start" two times - and the system will start the reset. You can now let go of ODO button.

Step 4: it will go through reset and then say complete...Once it is complete, it will be ok to start the car.

Step 5: in the maint menu, reset the miles to 5000 or whatever interval you have chosen to use.
