I have not made a decision yet. I am going back and fourth on selling one, keeping that one, selling both, keeping both and selling something else.
What I have.....84 single cab mini truck. 22R with weber carb, Welded rear, detroit front, 5.29s, dual cases, 30spline longs, just rebuilt front axle with bearings and marlin crawler seals, bobbed bed, sliders and bumpers, v6 master cyl and front calipers with vented rotors, IFS wider rear end, spacers front, heavy duty tierod, on 30%38s. Have but not installed, 1 piece driveshaft (needs to be cut down 3in), hi-steer arms, IFS steering box tapped for hydro (no ram). 95% rust free.
1980 FJ40, welded rear, ARB front, cage, 4wheel discs, 90% 36s, 41 tranny with low first gear, T-case from 3 speed with lower low range 47:1 overall ratio, dual orbital batteries, warn 8274, BNIB super top, weber carb, sliders, signaw power steering, heavy duty drag link and tierod. 95% rust free. Rockers are bent somewhat, it is a wheeler, but still good.
Can swap rims and tires between the two if needed.
Located in Starr SC, near Anderson.
I want something I can drive on interstate with and still wheel nicely. With A/C too. I want something to carry more than 2 people with. To keep my tools and equipment dry. Maybe sleep in too. An 80 would be perfect, a Troopy would be cool. Pics soon.
The cab of the truck is not krylon orange, the bed is still white, I was planning on a tube bed.
No pics of the 40 at this time. I can get some in the next few days.
