Al, I have talked John and his fiancee Kathy into coming and camping Sat night so that is 2 more to add to the list. He has a 87 Fj60 along with a Tacoma and Kathy drives a Highlander. I need everyones help in getting him involved in the club as we are staying on his property.
For the menu, Lydia suggested for Sat night that we do a soups and stews (and brews) theme since a crock pot is easy to travel and we have plug-ins all over the place. We need people that don't want to cook to bring: appetizers, desserts, rolls/bread/crackers, paper goods (bowls, plates, paper towels, napkins), plastic forks & spoons, 2 liter drinks, paper towels, napkins, etc.
We also think a Sunday group breakfast needs to be planned so we need eggs, bacon, biscuits, ham, etc.
For Friday night, I just bought a box of 40 all-beef hot dogs that I plan on cooking on the grill and sharing. If I need another box, let me know. I think the kids might also want to roast them over the fire.
Lydia and I will bring ice, propane, some TP, firewood, food, etc.
These are suggestions, so let the discussion begin!
