In this photo it looks like the leading edge (The edge facing the front of the vehicle) for the rear LCA mount is squared off on front. The Ruff Stuff mounts I had been looking at previously taper to a point. My concern was having a smooth ramp-up from the rail to the mount so if I am dragging the frame rail over something I don't hit the blunt front end of the mount and get hung up.

Gotcha. Those mounts are specific for the front end of a rig, can easily change it for a smooth ending
