The Ruff Stuff mounts I had been looking at previously taper to a point. My concern was having a smooth ramp-up from the rail to the mount so if I am dragging the frame rail over something I don't hit the blunt front end of the mount and get hung up.

Here is a photo of the Ruff Stuff mount if that helps clarify.

Gotcha. Those mounts are specific for the front end of a rig, can easily change it for a smooth ending :D Lemme know if you need a set, not an issue! :D

I'm up for the 23rd with a 9:30am start and BBQ lunch around 1pm. Bring your own meat and beer. We'll have the BBQ there to use. Are we planning a meeting after or the first Wednesday of the month? I have a ton of wiring, rock lights, plumb OBA to do during our wrench-a-thon. Everyone post up your project so we can get the list together.

Ryan- LCA mounts
Jonathan- light brackets
Matt- electrical, rock lights, OBA

I definitely want a set! Do you have hardware (Bolt and nut) for the mounts or a place to source them locally? I ask because my All Pro LCA armor came with a longer bolt and new nut. Ideally I would like to keep these so I can re-sell them with the armor. I did not keep my stock hardware.

I don't have any projects to do at this time, just coming down to hang out with the club and give a hand to whoever needs it. Ryan I will bring those awning mounts with me.
 
Would you guys be down for welding on my sliders? Of course I will supply bevy's and some wicked bbq.
 
I won't be able to make this one. I have a class that day.
 
Looking forward to this! I'm starting to get spring fever early this year and some wrenching on the FJ is exactly the medicine I need.

Bumping to the top.

I'm planing on attending, tiff moved her work schedule. My wish list;

  • Install Body Lift, which will include making a couple of extended radiator tabs
  • Have Clint work up a switch panel for my lights
  • Get a couple of custom tabs made for my front light bar
 
Can anyone bring a BBQ for Saturday or do we want to order pizza? My wish list is to get my on board air system installed and running. I won't have the bumper back from the painters to reinstall it, but I should have the roof top tent with me and could use a hand getting it on the roof rack. Looking forward to Saturday!
 
Have some other things going on but will try to stop by tomorrow.

Cool. Saw you today at the Expo. I was on a mission but glad to see that you stopped in.
