pictures are always good, if i get 2x 7" epistar, or 4" cree ( flood or spot on both ) would they be drowned out by a 22" epistar, flood or spot, if on at the same time, how far do the lights shine.

You can't see it because of the crappy photo, but both lights are shining on the building down in the distance.
To answer your question, if you point the 4" XT's and the 22" XT's in the same direction, it will appear that most of the light from the 4" Xt's is being washed out. To alleviate this problem, you could do a spot beam 22" TrekLight XT and two flood pattern 4" TrekLight XT's angled outward.
I had a customer order a spot pattern 18" TrekLight XT along with two flood pattern 4" TrekLight XT's that he is going to angle slightly outward for more spread. It's a pretty slick setup.
