WTFBBQ. That’s rad

If I had to guess I’d say imported and used to train military for overseas operations...which would mean it’s been beat to $hit...but that’s just a guess and I could be completely wrong.

Questionable that it is legally titled and licensed in the US. Being as that it is less than 25 years old, and it doesn't meet US DOT safety or emissions regulations, my gut is screaming "scam." If it is, in fact, Stateside, buyer beware. There'd be no way to license it for road use in any state.

FB account looks scamy, I bet this is a ghost post, be wary!

I thought so too. The license plate is blacked out but it's a Montana license plate "Treasure State" and the sticker on the back of the truck is for a soccer club in Connecticut. So I'd say that the truck does exist and is in Connecticut. How it's legally titled is a question, but I'd bet the answer lies in Montana's loose registration laws.

Yes this is ridiculously cool unobtainium.
Yes it's likely a legitimate listing for a vehicle that's on US soil.
Yes you could hand the owner $48,000 for it and they'd hand you the keys, and probably even a legitimate title.
Yes you might be able to slip it past a DMV employee and register it in your home state.

But the federal government could still come along whenever it wanted, seize this vehicle, and crush it. And you'd be out $48,000 just like that.

There are no loopholes because the point is for there to be no loopholes. Don't even consider this vehicle. Regardless of whether the seller is or isn't aware that it isn't US-legal - they're some combination of lazy, obtuse, and wreckless.

I came across a 2015 D110 for sale and titled in Florida. Not sure how it was originally acquired state side, but risky business.

Without import paperwork or with import paperwork that makes it clear that it was imported before the 25 year cutoff, I'd be too paranoid to own this thing. Even if I bought it and stored it for 20 years, I'd still worry that they'd notice the import date when I tried to register it in 2040.
