Got to spend the day with my mancubs. As they grow up these times get even more and more rare. Paddling at Pocahontas and then a super tasty dinner on the grill. Tequila lime chicken and shrimp and for dessert Key Lime pie.

The sun really brings out the “color” in that beard. 😀

Still have a week and then a weekend camping/fishing with the older boys. Along with an another dad and his sons. Really looking forward to the bonding time. Like you said, these times get rare.

With that in mind the kids let me do some “man” stuff yesterday; chainsaws then grilling and beers. They helped out when they could and the sun wasn’t melting them. 😂

Heckyeah nice set up on the saw💪🏼

Well, no kids here, I got the power steering fixed on the 40 Saturday, worked on 4 wheelers and then Sunday took the 40 for a long drive. Headed out to Goochland, across 522 to 711 and back in. Almost t-boned a car that pulled out in front of me while driving 55 mph! Scared the snot out of Betsy! Glad the brakes work good... Then headed down to the James and took Riverside down and around, passed near Alans house, passed Edwards house, then back down by Browns Island and back up Main, then Patterson, by Charles house and back to mine. All you guys were not home!!! or did not look like it.

40 is so much more fun to drive with V-8 power, almost like my little hot rod. Almost thinking the 6.0 LS might be a little too much for the 74? Almost! :)

I am glad all you guys had fun with your young ones and getting some man stuff done. I grilled steaks and drank Coors once we got back.

Wow sounds like a beautiful drive!! We spent the weekend up in deep creek MD it was wonderful. Tiny autumn spent a lot of time in the water! Also did a couple trails at wolf den run state park. The black trails were definitely more than I expected and Lauren had to help pull line up a steep incline where my front and rear tires were getting caught up at two large rocks preventing me from climbing. Some good ruts and steep hill climbs too. Would love to make a trip up there and run as many trails as we could sometime with the group.

This past weekend was low key. Just goofed off with the kids mostly.

Trying to go camping this weekend with the fam. It'll be a first time for the wife and girl. We're scheduled to teach at church Sunday so trying to get coverage for that so if we do it's a go. Probably camp somewhere around Switzer if we can snag a spot. The wife hates wheeling (or "bouncing around in the truck all day" haha) so we'll probably just set up and then I'll take them to the top of the mountain to Reddish Knob or something then come back down and hang out at the lake.
