Fast window mod - motor relays on a PCB!

Ok after a long wait - the site is finally up and you can order here.
I have 90 kits (3 boards + 3 harnesses each) ready to ship.
Currently have the inventory set to 20 total kits just to make sure all the site plumbing and orders are working properly. Then I'll open up the rest of inventory.

This is my first time setting up a Shopify site - so please let me know if there are any weird hurdles.

Order placed! Super easy on Shopify. That site separates me WAY too easily from my money! Great job!

So just to be clear for one vehicle to work the 4 windows which one do you need the $120 version USA spec or the 3 pack 3 harness $300 version?? I am assuming its the 3 pack 3 harness solution to work the 4 windows ($300).

Driver's side doesn't need it - for a complete vehicle you need the 3 pack.

Sweet!
Order placed!

Very stoked!

Thank you.

Also signal boosting that this is NOT yet a plug & play kit - see the install video here.
Working on a truly plug & play version with the harness vendor but that may take a while.
Install can be done in under ~2 hrs for a newbie. I'm able to do it in < 30 min at this point hah.

Very nice!

I might just have to go ahead and order a set for when I have the 62 running again.

Just got it today, and packed to bring it to South America and install it on my FJ62. Thank you for making this possible.

Update - I can do a plug and play version but the harnesses will be quite expensive...I'll likely order a small batch and make them available in the next few months - but they're going to cost me ~ $30 per harness. So at cost, it would move the kit from $300 to ~ $400 all-in...

@jonnyd42 Placed an order last week. What email address will the tracking number come from?

First batch was shipped out & delivered. Next batch I just made all the labels, they should ship out tomorrow.

Please put me down for a set with connectors for plug and play!
Thanks!

Hey all, figure I’d leave a note after having completed this mod. I’ll start with the end result. . . Huge difference. I used the opportunity to swap out my window channels and silicone spray things up while I had the door cards off and man. . . It’s like having new everything. The windows move like they’re supposed to again (first for me!). As for the process, it takes longer to get the door cards off than the actual wiring. It’s super easy and I’m far from an electrician. Was actually a fun process. I’d recommend using the time with the door cards off to give everything a good refurbish and you won’t regret the time spent bc the results will speak for themselves. Really happy with this easy mod.

What silicon spray did you use for the windows? How did you do it without getting that stuff on the window itself?

Stuff with teflon in it is generally better but from my experience, any silicone spray helps greatly.
Use the skinny tube to direct it in the rubber channel.

Going to tackle this mod this week hopefully. Need to make time for it.
