Looking for a farm supply store to purchase large galvanize water troughs (2'x2'x6') We have a few stores in the Scottsdale are but they have Scottsdale pricing. Looking to purchase somewhere here in town then order on line.

Names would help

If you want to go to Gilbert the owner of Higley Feed is a good friend of mine. I used to deliver hay to him and painted a couple trucks for him... Anyways he would take care of you. Pm me if you want and I'll give you his contact info

I'm picking up a load of hay early tomorrow am for sisters horses, I'll ask the rancher his advise

There's a few places on 32nd Street between Greenway and Bell Road. West side of the street. Also two places north of Bell on Cave Creek. West side of the street

I think Tractor Supply just opened up in Apache Junction recently (aboiut a mile away from Shoppers?). Another vote for Shopper's, they rock. AJ store is smaller than Chandler, but Chandler is pretty convenient to you, just down the 101 to the 202 and off on Alma School. Higley Feed good, but smaller and further away.

how about any animal feed supply store in more rural areas of the valley?

Got my hay by the way this morning. The farmer/rancher got 2.5 inches of rain the other night. He has to stay out of the muddy fields for about a week. Now its time to do maintenance and repairs on the equipment, etc.

He is making bank right now by getting out of cotton and focusing on bermuda and alfalfa the last couple years. With the droughts in the SW (Texas, NM, CA) he is shipping hay all over the place. Been going ot the same guy for about 34 years since I was a young teen with my Dad. He is a solid guy and glad he is doing well. This kind of lifesytle required a smart, savvy, and totally dedicated type person.

Sorry to say, i forgot to ask him about where to buy equipment.

I think we have it now with all the help from CSC. I have always wanted to go the Shoppers and Tractor Supply so my wife and I will be doing a little family shopping. Both have what we are looking for at about 20% less then the Snotsdale suppliers.

Thanks to the CSC family
