Fan sensor

Hi all. I have a stock '84 FJ60. I was reading through some of the posts here and it occurs to me that I haven't heard that fan that blows on the carb/manifold area since I did a bunch of work on my truck. Where is the sensor located so I can make sure that it didn't accidently get left unconnected?

follow the wire from the fan, I recall the sensor is down by the exhuast manifold, kinda under the carb and back towards the firewall a bit, you can see it, its mounted on a bracket(for the exhaust) I recall. BTW I know thats not the best discription of where it is

On my 40's and 60 it comes on almost everytime I park it, run for up to 30min.
