Hi all,

For 2016+ .........Just wanting to no what size fairlead you used when doing hidden winch with the Trail Taylor bracket 1 inch OR 1.5 inch

Is there a gap of some nature once the bumper is mounted between the trail tailor bracket and the outside of the bumper ?

Or does the inside of the bumper go to the face of the Trail Talor flush meaning no gap between the two.
I always have wondered if the bumper is sandwiched between the TT and the fairlead
but if I I have it right......One would cut outside dimension of fairlead on bumper, then use thick fairlead " 1.5" ) to fill the void leaving a clean look

Thank you again all

This. I can send pictures of whatever you need. I simply used the Warn hawse fairlead that came with the winch.

Eric Sarjeant advised me that he uses the 1.5" Factor 55 fairlead on their builds.

Here is a picture of the warn and factor 55 fairleads:

And you didn't ask, but I'll mention that there is a massive difference in quality between the two. The factor 55 had generous radiuses and military grade hard anodized, milled from a billet of solid aluminum. The warn has sharper radiuses, and is painted. I don't know, but am guessing that the Warn is cast, not milled from a billet.
