Factory Tailamp "Shopping Cart Guards" easy to remove? (1 Viewer)

I haven't seen one in person yet with the rear tailamp "Guards" installed, but I know from the photos that I don't like them. Does removing them leave any holes in the body/damage to the body, or do they remove cleanly? I don't want to have to rule trucks out with them if they are easily removed without damage. Thanks..

The Manik light guards use a three point mount - two with the factory taillight screw and one with double sided tape.

I have seen two instances where owners decided against the velcro spacer against the fender and drilled them permanently. I'd be sure and ask.
