First off - I'm a long time reader / first time poster. I've got a '97 FZJ80 (had it about 2 months) black with tan/oak interior and factory lockers - sweet ride. It's my first LC so i'm still pretty green, but learning fast thanks to this site.

As with many of the men on this forum this 80 is driven primarly by my wife and it's important that it "look nice". I on the other hand have visions of dust and mud, but maybe later (someday it will be mine <evil laugh>)

Anyway, the interior is like new but the factory carpet floor mats were toast so I hucked em. We live in seattle so we've got a good set of rubber mats that trap all the rain water we track around. I'm wondering if anyone on this forum knows of somewhere I can find replacement factory floor mats (either new or used)? I know it sounds kinda lame, but they just look and fit better... I've searched through old posts to no avail. Any thoughts?

Thanks
Adam

Cruiserdan is the resident Toyota parts geek and generally (though bald and old) good guy. :flipoff2:

You can PM him and ask him about getting replacements--if there's anyone that can get them for you, it's Dan. As a longtime lurker, you no doubt know that, right? :D

In any case, welcome out of lurkdom and into the light. You can now be greeted as all are :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

PS: I've gotten some of those Husky mat covers to deal with the much that you get in the NE. They're really great and fit perfectly. Consider those as an option if you can't get the original replacements.

Yep - CDan's da man. I'd stick with the original.

About a month ago some place had the 40th anniversary ones on clearance. I think it may have been the craphouse performance products or something. Dunno. I was bored and waiting on something and that's all there was to read. So, I'd say search around the web.

I also own a 97', black,n oak interior, lockers .... except it's all mine ;) Just bought some all new mats from C-Dan, total for the set was $52 I think, give or take a buck or two. I wouldnt mess about with anything else, you wont find the real stuff for cheaper. By the way, I've got the factory ones for day to day and Husky's for everything else. Also have the PCV rear mat with 3 inch edges all the way around, great for wet dogs, leaky coolers, muddy boots etc.
