Wanted F or 2F engine, KS vicinity?

I've blown up the F in my 1968 FJ40. Transmission, T-case are good. Thinking about replacing with another F, if there are any available in the area. Or a 2F would likely work, as well.

I've got an F of unverified condition sitting in a 72ish parts chassis you could have for cheap, particularly if you wanted to come and remove it... located in eastern Iowa

Yeah, Keith. It was sad. I'd been driving it once or twice a week to work, only about 4 miles away from home with no issues. So I decided to do the long drive to KC, about 50 miles, to drop it off for body work and blamo within 7 miles.

It's actually at @kc_chevota's house now, where I was going for the body work in the first place. He pulled the head the other day and I'm going to get the diagnosis today.

Unfortunately no. There's a hole in the side of the block and #6 piston is gone without a trace. Maybe it's in the crankcase?

Going to replace the motor. Bummer, but she'll ride again with an old Toyota heart.

Have a 67’ F motor in good order (just pulled for 2F swap). Not sure if you consider TN too far.
