F Engine head interchangeability (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
It is getting difficult to identify a 105 F Engine Head. By reading it seems that the compresion is 6.8 to 1 compared to the 7.5 to 1 of the later engines.

Two questions: How I can identify a 105 head, and the other one, can I use a later model F engine head on my 105?

Jeff Zepp mentioned that the only issue would be the manifold, but I am not sure.

I can't find the picture but there is an F 105 cast into the head, I think it's on the top in the area where the air cleaner bolts to the head. Not sure on the compatibility, I've never seen one.

Head gasket indicates a 135 might fit, manifold looks 120/135 ish...I don't think I have ever seen a 105 block, what makes it different from a 135?

I like the relocated oil filter, where is the voltage regulator though?
