If anyone can help I would appreciate any advice. I have a rebuilt F carb by a pro on here. I have it on a 75 2F. It runs well but when I press the accelerator it stick at that speed untill i kick it down with a quick, hard stopm on the accelerator. I did a few mor tests on it since I thought it was the cable and the mount I made for the carb and engine to work together. Any way I tried it with the engine off with and without the cable connected at the carb. Both worked fine with no vacum on it. The would both release and rest on the stop screw. Then I tried it with the cable connected and disconnected with the engine on. It sticks with or without the cable connected. Shouldn't the sprin pull it back to the stop screw? Can I have a vacume leak? Any thoughts? And also does anyone have a picure of how the vacum lines should be on an F carb I would really like to see it. And I do not know if it matters but I am new to the stock carbs. It had an old rochester on it before. Thanks for any willing advice.
