F- 250 shock towers length (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

I'm hoping that someone here was doing the same (hard core haha) mod that I was doing some 15 yrs. ago.
My question, is what is the length of a ford f-250 shock tower ? I installed them on my fj40 back then in my quest for more travel. I cut those out and built shock hoops, and fabed up some metal tech front fenders. This was again another attempt at more front axle articulation. It worked great I gota say.

These days I find myself doing a lot more just plain wheel"in. A little crawling is still fun but I'm scaleing it back a bit and I want to go back to my stock front fenders and loose the shock hoops. I plan on either going back to the ford towers, or going with some that ruff stuff is making.

Well I found an old ford and measured it. They are 14.5". They have doubled in price since the first time I bought them, but at 45 bucks they are still a pretty good buy when you start looking at comps.
