Is anyone out there using one of rodney's extreme transmissions . In particular the automatic transmission for the fj62 series (a440)
If so what do you think of it and how much did it cost and how long did it take to get to the U.S.

I know that Euclid on this board is running one. Several guys on the 3fe list on yahoo are running them as well.... that may be a better place to get some feed back.

Got mine from the former US distributer (slee). Rodney at extreme knows more about the a440 than anybody short of the Japanese guy that thought them up. Get in touch with him directly and go from there. Very good guy, very helpfull, very knowledgeable.

I really like my transmission. Go for the custom valve body with 3rd and 4th gear lockup. I really like that about mine. Also go ahead and get the temp guage. If you drop that much cash on the tranny you don't want to worry about what temp it's running.

Lotta money, but its the best. Ask TCB what he would do....
