Exterior Lights Staying On??

Hi all,

I have a 2002 LC, and I usually keep my headlights on Auto. Here lately I've noticed that sometimes my running lights stay on after I've turned off the ignition and gotten out of the LC. I don't know if this is always the case, but I noticed today that they were off when I got out but came back on and stayed on when I locked the door with the remote. Any ideas?

I haven't tried to change the headlight settings and re-test, but I will.

On my '06, the lights will stay on for a while (90 seconds?) even if I lock it. If I press the lock button 2x, they go off.

I believe it's a personalized setting how long the lights stay on, at least on more current models. I think mine turn off as soon as I open the driver door.

They were staying on all the time, but had a faulty driver door open/closed switch, so it was reading the door was closed when it was open.

Ok, let me rephrase a little. During my test the lights were off, then I pressed the lock button and the running lights (the exterior ones, some people call them side markers) came on and stayed on.
