FJ45 extended 9" in the cab. I put the back of my FJ45 cab on an FJ40 tub. The roof was the hard part.

only pic i can find of my stretch at the moment, i covered the stretched area with 3/16s steel for armor and made a tube back on it

Yep, I made up my mind, the 72 fj40 "parts" rig I bought is going to become a 45 with extended cab. A lot of good idea's here, keep posting your progress poor boy pulling

It is a modified FJ 40 but fits my purpose.

Here are some pics I found maybe on ebay of a rig for sale some time ago. The rig was made in a california shop I believe. I like the sheet metal rear fender flares. Here is a stretch 4-Door 40 in the middle of a build. They do such nice work I would like to see them do an extended cab 45

I also like a conversion that looks more like a truck, with a seperate bed like D'Animal's rig. This guy did an excellent build, but this style to me has a bit of a Suzuki samari look, to each their own but I want to eventually make something that looks more like a SWB 45 but with an extended cab.
