Explain the wheel wells ?? (1 Viewer)

I keep coming back to the odd shape .. the wierd angularity is accentuated when you look at the pics of it with a PS lift .

Does anyone want to comment specifically on the shape of the wells ?

well u see the perosn designing it was finished drawing up the front grill and then said hmm i dont wanna do this any more so her just covers the wheels with his ruler and said done

Similar to the squarish fenders/openings on the FJ40?

I think they call this a mechanical design look. It's used in the 4th generation 4runner. It's the future, you will either learn to love it or hate it. It kind of grew on me like mold and I now like it. They also use a lot of brushed aluminum interior parts instead of wood, you can see this in the European BMW interior design. Hey its the future.
