Hey guys,

Valve covers on my 2003 GX are leaking BAD. bought it about a month ago with 178k miles. I will go ahead and try to tackle this myself. Wanted to see what else should I do once I'm there. So far my plans are to change the gaskets, spark plugs and PCV valve. I have bought all of these OEM.

What else do you guys suggest I do since I'm already there?

Thanks in advance!

Coilpacks and plugs are the logical choice. Make sure you check the torque on the bolts when you reinstall...they back out so easily.

spark plug tube seals while the cover is off.

I asked for these but they told me at Toyota that they dont sell them individually. I already have the OEM gaskets. Do you think it will be ok to run the Felpro tube seals? Or should I try returning the OEM gaskets and get the Felpro kit to keep it uniform?
