Exhaust question with 315/75-16 1994

So I got my 315's finally---they measure 34.9 tall they are the BFG MT 315/75-16. My question is I was holding them up to the passenger side rear tire and I'm wondering if the stock exhaust pipe is going to melt the tire--is the exhaust in the same location for all years?

Yeah, exhaust is in the same spot for all 80s IIRC. I can vouch for the FZJ80 exhaust being in the same location.

FWIW, I hav e315s and have had no problem with damage due to heat.

Doug your LX looks great---sounds like ours are set up about the same--I have the heavies w/ two ome trim packers on each spring. Glad the tires will clear---the 4.88's are being installed right now
