Thanks for the post. I was very interested in the covers. I like the thought of canvas for the dog.OK. Escape Gear seat covers have made it!
The good news:
1st row seat bottoms & head rests fit
Dash cover fits
Entire second row fits
Third row fits (minus headrests)
Duffel bag and map case are both very nicely made
The bad news:
Center console cover doesn't even come close to fitting
1st row seat backs do not fit with armrests attached (even though armrest covers were shipped)
3rd row headrest covers are way too large
Here's the order as I received it after opening the plastic bag that it all shipped in. I ordered seat covers in Khaki for all three rows, a dash protector, 65L duffel bag, and a map holder.
First thoughts - very nicely made. Everything has a top-notch finish to it, with each item tagged and inspected. I thought the bag for the seat covers was a nice touch as well.
Moving on to the install, I hit a snag immediately: no provisions in the 1st row seat backs for armrests. After digging around the internet, it looks like Escape Gear normally makes armrest-equipped covers with a nice cutout.
I'm thinking that this is model-specific, as they did include armrest covers. However, you can't fully install the seat backs with them on.
Moving on, the 1st row seat bottoms fit without drama. Very well actually, with cutouts for the seat controls.
Center console was next. Either I'm completely missing something here, or this one was made for a MUCH larger console. I'm guessing console-fridge equipped Middle East models? There's no way to tuck the excess in either.
Moving on to the 2nd row (with an image of the 1st row map pockets). Everything in the second row fit perfect.
3rd row time. The seat covers themselves fit great, but the headrests again look to be for a different model. They have about 2 inches of excess cloth on both sides. It's not noticeable from the front because I tucked it in.
Lastly I installed the dash cover. This stays in place with 6 large pieces of 3M-backed velcro. I was torn on purchasing this part, but figured "why not" for the little bit it cost extra. I'm actually pretty pleased with how it hugs the dash. Plus I now have 3 more zipping pockets to stash stuff in.
Overall, I'm not happy with the amount of money these cost for the fitment issues. The pieces that fit well are excellent, but between the armrests, console cover, and 3rd row headrests, I'm not real pleased. I even submitted pictures of my interior to Escape Gear to confirm the fit. I will say that I've contacted Craig @ Escape Gear to see if he can make it right though - I'm certainly not one to bash a company if they can make it up with customer service. We'll see what they come back with.
In the meantime, be aware of the fitment issues if you decide to order.

Thanks for the follow-up and pics. I hope it works out in the end, and they solve your concerns.
You want to select VX.How do you tell wether to enter GX or VX for our rigs?
The seat covers themselves look to have a great fit. Hopefully all will be resolved for you. Please post pics of the final fitment once all is corrected. Maybe some more of the dash cover too. I like the idea of pockets up there but not too sure I like the look. Thanks
That's amazing! Thank you for the update.Alright, update time!
Craig and I have been e-mailing back and forth, and his design team has identified the differences in our models vs. UK/Africa/etc.
They kindly offered to send me a new console cover and seat covers, to which I agreed. Craig asked that I send him the tag details so that they could match the cloth from the same roll.
Fast forward to yesterday, I received an e-mail from Craig. He apologized for the delay, but informed me that my original roll of cloth was used up on other vehicles since production of my covers. He said that they will be sending me a whole new set of seat covers, complete with the correct console and head rest covers.
I've got to say, I'm floored by Escape Gear's level of customer service. I've already asked if they can make seat covers for a 2016 Tundra as well. Craig and his team are excellent to work with.
I'll update this thread with the whole new set once they arrive. I'd like to start a new thread as well at that point, fresh without all of the issues I experienced in the beginning.
@WingNutLG
Any update? I cant wait to see how these turn out.
Maybe I missed it, but how much were the seatcovers?
