Just recently the radio, bluetooth, and cd player stopped working. The touch screen display seems to work fine in all other modes (map, settings, climate, etc) but when I press the audio button I get this error message and nothing on the screen is clickable. I have seen similar posts here but not quite this one. I have checked all three fuses (in all three fuse boxes) and they test as intact on my multimeter. Notably, there has been a lot of rain here in my area this past week. And when I removed the place in the passenger seat footwell which covers that area containing the passenger side fusebox, the foam lining was a little damp, but I don't think that should be an issue. Anyone have ideas?

likely your sunroof drains. when clogged they cause water in that area. if that's not it then perhaps the windshield cowl, though mine leaked onto the passenger side mat and not inside the panel. lots of threads here on water intrusion due to clogged sunroof drains. there's a wire tool with a brush on the end you can get from amazon for a few bucks. don't remember the proper length you might want to search for that.

This may be a stupid question, but have you accidentally pressed the volume knob, which turns the audio system on/off? (At least it does on the LX.)

Thank you both. The on off knob was something I considered, it doesn't seem to be the issue. I'll get the drain cleaning brush. But how do I resolve the issue once the drains are clear?

i would chase down the water in the panel and see make sure its dry. look at the connectors to see if there's any corrosion.

lots of info to search through, but if it is water/corrosion issue first step is stop the water (clean the drains). second would be to chase down where the water intruded by looking for corrosion. some have been lucky enough to be able to simply clean the connector contacts, others not so much.

Thank you for the information about the sunroof drains. Is there any resource where I can find the location of the infotainment hardware? There's a number of devices between the glove box and the foot well and I'm not sure which is which.

you may want to check for corrosion in location shown in this thread:
