For those of you like me tying to fab champagne stuff on a beer budget Fastenal has some pretty good stuff on sale. The wire costs twice as much to ship but still under 1/3 the price anywhere else.
Just search the word "clearance item" and then expand to all categories, open each cat that you're interested in into a new tab and it makes searching for stuff much easier.
I got some 6013 and 7018 rod for sub 60 cents a pound, shipping to your local store is the cheapest way and often is half that of shipping to your home so if you're close to a Fastenal its the way to go.
Other items of interest were masking tape for .25 to under $1 per roll, this is the good synthetic stuff too.
locking welding clamps, vice grip style, self tapping screws in every flavor you could imagine etc.
