I just returned from and epic journey in my 2017 200 Series. I left the Midwest in July and headed to Alaska where I guide in the summer. Each year I flew over this great land and this time around I decided to drive.

I drove 10,390 miles in great comfort. Saw some awesome country and parts in between. I averaged over 16 mpg the entire trip with a lot of driving in the mountains. The dual battery system that Slee installed was great running my National Luna refrigerator and the Gamiviti rack held all the gear on top without any problem whatsoever. The Jowett oil cap and Fumoto valve on the pan made oil changes a breeze and I can't say enough about the Nitto Terra Graplers for a smoothie quiet ride.

I would do it again without hesitation, but it's hunting season down in the lower 48 now so I have others uses for the vehicle. Say what you want about these vehicles but this is one of 3 that I own and as long as I can get em I will continue to drive em.

Thanks for all the "likes", this forum has been good to me and I appreciate all the thoughts. Unfortunately with respect to photos, I have to confess I have only a few from the trip. Those that I do have are chosen carefully and are on my Instagram page.

Re: photos, I stopped being the trip photographer some time ago. I now dedicate my time to helping my clients catch fish and capture for themselves the memories. For years and years, as a result of my guiding adventures, I would host trips and out of interest or by default become the 'staff photographer' which got me some good gigs, however I find that it's almost impossible to capture a season or journey like this without ever putting down the camera. It's just too great of Land. However, I will have to say that British Columbia and the Yukon are awesome places that need further exploration.

Thanks for your thoughts, and lastly don't be afraid to rack up the mileage. These vehicles are made for exploration.
