I'm glad to finally have it runnng. I'll make it up there this spring for a wrenching party and a comp.
Thats your engine ;) We'll get rid of it somehow.

Oh, we'll put it to good use:beer: no worries, just wanted to make sure you knew it was yours to take if you needed it.

I'll be competing the FTOY on May 7th for the Eastern Opener of W.E.Rock.

I'll try and make it up there for that.
Have you talked to Marc? I haven't heard from him since he said he was moving to FLA and buying a new buggy

Akron, OH

ps: congrats Marty...now drive your 80 up here and let's get the birfs done....actually, this might be a good one for Van Meter's new place.

Beno,

Been really busy the last half the 05' and my home computer finally took a dump in October and have yet to get it replaced...so...access to the net is limited and I've spent what time I do have maintencing build up threads. :-)

New shop is down by TheRocHQ (http://www.theroc4x4.com) at Alum Creek Drive and E.Williams Road. I have my own building.

Link above is for pics of the shop and the Ftoy being built.

Let's shoot for March and I will get us some play time on the Course for those that want to beat their junk to oblivian...LOL!

Screw the 80, I'm driving the 40!
Just got back from Aruba
When you wanna schedule some wrenching?

Marty,

Aruba!!!! Nice man, real nice. Trust it was a good vacation for ya'.

I'm game, I'd say we shoot for a March Wrench Day and give everyone plenty of time to plan.

Shop is BIG and plenty of room.

I might be able to make it. I can bring my Windsheild frame and a new piece of glass. I ordered a new OEM gasket last week I have to pick up yet.

Anyone know how to rebuild a brake booster?

Okay,

We can do it these dates.

March 18th on a Saturday. The Roc will be open for practice this day also and will be testing out the FTOY.

I'm doing W.E.Rock West-GLOBE, AZ on April 7-9 so the next available date would be April 22nd and this would be another opportunity to see theROC also.

Columbus W.E.Rock is May 7-9 and would welcome a "gathering" for that but not a wrench day.

New shop is 2500 square feet with a "Fonzie Pad" upstairs that's also 2500 square feet. Plenty of room, fridge, all that. We can get loud too!

As usual, I'll have the BBQ and MEAT/BEER for anyone that shows up. Bring a side dish.

How does this sound?

The March date sounds pretty good.

I'll check to see if Wagon wants to come too.

Sounds like the shop is the ultimate getaway for you and the crew.

Thanks again for offering Mark.

So, who's got projects to wrench on? Marty--get your front axle stuff and we can make it a birf party.

Later.

I will pencil it in, Thats the best I can do. I really will have a windshield to do again, I got the new rubber today....

Other than that I need to adjust the valves on the cruiser, but doubt it would be possible to drive or trailer it down.

I wouldnot mind screwing up. Err I mean wrenching on someone elses shiznit. Jims Cs gotta have something. .

Uh I could get some dimensions and a drawing or two together for some seat frames..... fabrication...

I wil have nothing to work on(hopefully) so step up guys. My shop is your shop for the day.

Just give me a head count and I'll make sure the grubb is covered. March it is.

Sat. March 18...Sounds good to me. I hope we get to work on someone elses junk to. You guys can't just keep having these partys for me. I'll get my axle rebuild parts and some PHH parts if there is time.

I'll most likely be at the comp 5/7 also

It's a date then. I'll have Brats, Burgers and Chix for the grill. Oh and Beer. We are setting up a tap in one of the fridges.

Marty, we are having a get together Saturday night after the first day's event at the shop. More than welcome to join.

Should we start a new thread?

I will definately swing by and a have a beer or 3 after the event.

Cool...Please do. We are inviting all the competitors to join us for some MidWest Hospitality.

Yeah, I think a new thread for the wrenching day on the 18th is a good idea.
