Engine Start problem (1 Viewer)

Last evening my lc engine started 1st time.

I went out to fuel up for an early start the next morning. At 4 am the engine would turn, fire and then die after 5 secs. After a few goes I abandoned the idea and jumped into another vehicle. In the evening the vehicle again started 1st time. Drove again, stopped and would not start...same situation fire and die.

Th engine is a 1kz with no previous starting issues.

Any ideas? I am going to change the fuel filter 1st.

Check batteries for level and being loose.

Check for loose wires

check fuel line is primed and not full of air

all injectors are clean I assume by the rawang LcII hospital?

All wires and battery level ok.

Injectors not done since the day I had the half cut. Engine has started 1st time without fail. Last big service I wanted to change the fuel filter but skipped it. The engine runs for a few seconds then dies.

Fitted a new fuel filter a few hours ago. Now runs.

Old one was full of horrid nasties.

Remember to change the fuel filter every 20000 or so..
