Buying a house and I'm selling my 02 Durango R/T, which I use for occasional towing of my 88 Samurai Trail rig with (with 85 toy axles 
). Can't afford the Durango and house, so I'm looking for a cheaper but reliable transportation. I'd ideally like to get a newer Taco, but I don't see that happening, so I've been looking for 92-95 Hilux's. Although I stumbled accross a 1997 Taco xtra cab, 4-cyl, 4 wd, ac, 197k, former salvage vehicle, but needs an engine for $1,500. Worth it to through a nother 4 popper in there for under a $1k if the body and frame are still in good condition? Could that 4 popper tow the Samurai on a light trailer once or twice a year?
