Engine just died. Fuel or ignition problem?

The most reliable vehicle in the world just let me down :crybaby:

While driving along @ 40mph in my mint condition 2001 LC w/88k miles the engine just shut off. No warning signs, no stuttering, no sound...it just shut off. The engine cranks over great but it won't fire.

I checked the EFI fuse and for corrosion on the plug under the driver's side rear door. Both are fine.

What now? My gut is telling me the fuel pump died. Is there an EFI or Fuel Pump relay on the 100 Series that can fail?

Thanks

UPDATE - NO SPARK! Now I need to find out why.

Interesting. Too bad he didn't tell you exactly what needed to be fixed.

How many miles on your rig?
