That is quite a parts collection! :)

The alternator belt doesn't fit because it is an F alternator in a 2F bracket. Get a 2F alternator to restore full adjustability.

The carb is a 1978 Cali-spec carb. It's never gonna work real good w/ the truck because the truck is missing/never had the rest of the cali emissions. The carb is also suspect because it has a sweatshop rebuild sticker on it.

Dissy is a points 1977. Should be used to trigger an ignitor box, but that is gone based on the presence of the added condensor on the dissy.

The fender turn signals are from the truck aisle at Tractor Supply. Same for the amber front side marker.

Note that the rear side marker is bondo-ed over.

The front bib w/ lights is from early (e-68?) FJ4x, same w/ the filler panels, the amber sidemarker is covering the early reflector holes. Hood is prolly from the same old donor, has early prop rod and chrome hood ornament.

The intake looks like an earlier model, like 75-76.

Is the water pump bad?

Is the fan clutch bad? (looseness in the clutch is normal, there's just a low tolerance bushing in there.)

Before swapping in headers, try making things work right:
-Ditch the airpump & rail, plug holes in head & aircleaner.
-Test dissy to see if vac & mechanical advance work. Set timing appropriately.
-Have carb built & tweaked by competent Cruiser specialist. It's lean now, adding headers won't help.
-Replace missing carb insulator, so carb doesn't cook after shutdown.
-Replace missing carb cooler fan, so carb doesn't cook after shutdown.
-Get a new or used T-stat housing, clean it up, buy a new 82C T-stat and all gaskets and 2 bolts from toyota. Install in place of whatever :censor:is there now.

Then start modifying.:bounce:
