It's been awhile since I've been on here do to work and moving and what not. Recently I've had a intermittent check engine light and when I scan it I get the code p2743- transmission fluid temperature sensor "B" circuit high. I do not believe the fluid temperature is actually high due to the fact that it comes on randomly even when cold and won't come on at all after hours of driving. I believe my sensor maybe be going bad or possibly a broken wire somewhere. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this issue or can at least point me in the direction of where the sensor is located. I've read elsewhere that on tacomas that sensor is located inside the trans. Thank you for your time and have a great day.
