I need some help with my 2003 Land Cruiser 100 Series.
I was recently driving around using my stereo, and after I ran a quick errand and turned on the stereo, the speaker wouldn't make any noise. The stereo turned on and I was able to switch from FM to AM to CD, but no sound at all. When I hit the map button, the error message "Unable to read data. Check if map DVD is correct." The climate controls still work. I got the AVC Lan Moitier to switch to its diagnostic screen. (Hold the info button and tuned the headlights on and off three times). When I switched to LAN monitor it said that the EMV, AUDIO H/U and NAV1 all need to be checked. I saw that each of them displayed a list of codes but I have no clue how to read them. I saw in previous forms that these codes can be found in the factory repair manual, but I'm still confused even after looking in a PDF version. I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with a similar experience and how they fix it, or if anyone knows how to read the codes. I'm attaching images of the codes, as well as links to the PDF I was looking at. Thank you so much for the help.

The information you want is in the Diagnostics - Navigation System section, beginning on page DI–984. The codes are defined on page DI–989 , and listed on page DI–998:

Since every one of the first, second and third problem resolutions appear to be "check harness for power", maybe start there. The details for harness checks begin on page DI–1006: Terminals of ECU, the radio specifically starts on page DI–1012.

Since electrical system in the 100 series is a CANbus system, if you don't know what you're doing, find someone who does, and not a "general automotive electrician". If there aren't any good Land Cruiser shops in your area, an industrial maintenance guy who knows CANbus will be able to diagnose the system if you give him a copy of the service manual.

You don't, by any chance, have a history of wet floorboards, or other signs of windshield leaks?

not me; I had to search for it

Thank you so much! I’ll start with the wiring harness and see if there is a problem there. I have a suspicion that before I bought this car it was possibly either in a flood/hurricane, and I just took it to get a windshield replaced today and turns out the last windshield replacement messed up replacing the side seals and the guy took it today. Said the windshield probably had some slight water leaks.

Well, the good news is Land Cruisers were made to swim, so water isn't as big a problem for them as it is for other cars/trucks. Still work, but not impossible.

Well, that’s good at least, I’ll send updates on how the repairs are going.

I'm having the problem OP describes, except that at max volume, engine off, I can hear a slight whisper from the speakers.
On a recent trip, I've had a wet passenger side floorboard - no rain, A/C running full, so I'm guessing it's an A/C condensate drain leak or plug somewhere.
What would I look for with the wet floorboard causing a problem?

If you only have a plugged A/C drain line, you wouldn't expect electrical problems. There's really nothing under the drain tray to get wet, except the floor. Run a really long pipe cleaner in it, from the engine side. Now that no one smokes pipes anymore, you can get them for general cleaning:

(search for extra long pipe cleaners, you'll get lots of hits)

You can get a copy of the 2004 service manual from the Resources section. Thank @arcteryx for it.

With apologies to the OP, you should probably start a thread for this, since it's a bit afield of the OP's post.

With respect to the whine on the speakers, you have a "leak" somewhere. The stereo is isolated with shielded wires to prevent this from happening. If you look at the EWD, you'll see this. The shielded wires will be represented with a dashed outline round them.

(this is the sum total of the stereo section of the 2004 EWD, and you'll notice it says nothing about various stereo options...)

Word of warning: the EWDs are notoriously incomplete regarding the stereo, amp and other related components. There were so many options, the tech writers, apparently just threw up their hands and said, "fudge".

You need to start with the part number on the rear of your head unit, match that against a valid Toyota EPC (PartSouq, Amayama or the Toyota EPC online, etc.) and go from there. If your unit connections don't match the EWD, you'll have to wing it, but at least you'll know where most of th stuff is connected and with a little guessing, you'll figure it out. Fortunately, the audio part of the stereo (NAV or not) is just head unit–amp–speakers, so finding the wires isn't all that hard.

If you have some buzzing goign on, my first thought is that you have some insulation chewed up somewhere, along with the foil shield under it. This will be obvious; inspect the harness for any external damage. If you don't find any, you'll have to do some probe sluething.
