Since 21 is the last year I have decided to trade in again for a newest 21LC and as a present to myself got myself an HE this time around. Not crazy about black color but no silver/grey HE are averrable in SouthEast and white somehow did't flow for me so I am trying black (hopefully will not regret it). When you get a very healthy discount, you take what is available. In typical fashion starting with mods. Initially just esthetic/functional as converting remaining non-LED bulbs to LEDs (reverse, turn signals), adding cargo lights, replacing rear bumper reflector with LED lights and as well I am adding DRLs module around fog lights at front which I had on my 20LC as well.

The last time I did the DRL install I routed wires into cabin so could turn them on/off with a switch but actually never used the switch. I want to simplify the install and just wire them inside the engine bay and to come on/off with ignition. Does anyone know which fuse to tap in?

Thanks!

I seem to recall just using an add a fuse in the ign fuse position for an ignition trigger wire.

Thanks all. I think I will just pick up fuse meter and just go one by one and see which one is dead with ignition off. Had the truck already for 36 hours. Time to start taking things apart :)

If the '21 is largely the same, here's the tap point you're looking for.

Thanks! Unfortunately the 21 fuse box looks differently. Here it is a picture

Look at the underside of the lid for the location of the fuse marked IGN.

This may help. You'll want to meter it to confirm, but it looks like "ENG-IG NO. 1" at the bottom left of the Unit A block should work. There's likely multiple places that could work.

Thanks all. After further research to provide added safety I have decided to buy harness with relay and route cable through firewall inside the cabin and as well add on/off switch. Thanks for everyone's help
