My wife and I are getting a frig for Xmas as a gift for are self's and I wanted to no what I should order with it. It will be going in are 97fj80, travel bag, transit lock do you thing we would need this stuff?

Ryan-Just me personally, but I think the transit lock is a cheap POS. Look at one carefully before you buy. The latch mechanism is just cheap low quality plastic. The bag is a good plan as it increases the insulation value.

It Slee Engel slide is really nice, but isn't cheap. They have doubled in price since I got mine, but it's sturdy and well made.

I'm thinking a clever guy like you could rig up a tie down system pretty easily.

Thanks for the suggestions drew, I didn't think the lock wasn't all that good so I asked but had no idea about the bag. I will be doing a build up on the 80 soon with some cool on of a kind products that have not hit the market yet. I know most off the 80 people have their 80's fully outfitted with all the new stuff you need to go out for a week self contained. But like all my other projects time and money are the two reasons people never get the things they need for a weekend warrior/ daily driver.

I own Engel 45 with bag and slide out holder. It will be worth the purchase . You'll love it. I also bought many years ago. I have not run down my battery yet. Happy Holidays.
