EMU 10mm Lift on a 100??!!

I'm an 80 Series owner and hang out in their forum, so apologies for my nubee questions. I'm considering buying a 2000 LC and test drove it today. I felt like a soccer mom. It drives great; don't get me wrong. But my 97 with its straight 6 and 2 inch EMU lift is more truck like.

So my questions. 1) EMU shows a 10 mm lift package for this year. Is that it? Can I get a 2 inch for this rig? I tried searching the Forum but hit a dead end. Not possible? 2) Did this year come with an option to raise the height via air lift or did I imagine this?

I'd like to turn this rig into my DD with ability to do off road on National Forest trails but need bigger tires and more ground clearance. Suggestions and pictures welcome. Thanks guys.

Basically, rear lift depends on which springs you put in, front depends on how much you crank the torsion bars.

The LX has the hydraulic suspension, LC didn't get it until '06.

If you're doing NF trails, you don't need a lift, bigger tires, or more ground clearance, it will do that out of the box. We're all soccer moms here, just that the fields our kids play on no one else can get to.

LOL Truck Monkey. True confession s I was a soccer dad a long time ago. But didn't own a LC.

So the link you sent shows a 1.5 inch EMU lift. Are these pretty reliable and is the ride stable at 75mph? I have no complaints about my 80 Series EMU lift package and would recommend to anyone.

Same OME product you have, so just as reliable and goes 75mph all day. With arm rests and heated seats.

I'm all for the heated seats. Probably tasking the 100 series to Ontario for a year.

Okay thanks. I might have to make an offer and join the 100 Series club. Keeping the 80 Series though. For life.
