If anybody with recorvery gear can help my family and I out Id so greatly appreciate it. We are stuck on the beach at Bombay Beach and the nearest crossroad is Fifth and Aisle of Palms. 911 won't help and the towing companies refuse to go on the beach. I have $100 cash to make the trip worth it.

Thanks guys

There are some towing and recovery folks at Ocotillo Wells, not too far from you, who are used to this type of thing. I'll see if I can find some info and maybe someone else can chime in with more.

I found this, Yelp says he's the guy to call:

SoCal recovery & Towing
760-464-7732

Hi guys, thanks for the responses. We're basically sitting on the frame right now. We're really deep in some nasty mud. California Highway Patrol is with us now and a tow truck is on the way. Border Patrol came out earlier with their 4x4 and straps but that attempt failed.

It's starting to sprinkle too. That coupled with my wife and kids freaking out and the smell of the Salton Sea, this situation is terrible.

I'll try to post pics and an exact coordinate. Thanks again for the help guys.

Get the coordinates of a place you find on the map with your browser, like Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer.
  1. Open Google Maps.
  2. Right-click the place or area on the map.
  3. Select What's here?
  4. A card appears at the bottom of the screen with more info.

In efforts to save time and get you exposure, I posted up the screenshot from above. Once you update, weather it be the tow truck or helpers, I'll take down your phone number from the post. Good luck
