I think you should go with the first one. I like the second one but i do not think it belongs on the new FJ>

I would use the one that you can stick on...and don't have to drill holes into your truck.
If the Old style orginal 4wd fj40 is the real deal...then it had tabs, that stick thru the body uses screws to secure it.

Well if you have the 6 speed with full time 4wd, then I would go with the first one. If you have the automatic part time, I would go with the older style. However the first one does look more modern and goes with your vehicle more.

I would not put either of those emblems on your FJC. Neither of those emblems is correct for the vehicle.

Here is a pic with my retro emblem on.

I personally like the old style 4WD emblem - to the point I put one on my FJ. I think it ties in nicely to the FJ heritage without renaming the vehicle (regardless of capabilities). Although it seems to work better with the blue/yellow FJs, it looks just fine on the Silver. As to drilling holes, all I did was cut the bolts off the badge and stick it on with double sided tape (that is all that holds the other badges on to begin with).

As to location, I put mine on in place of the Toyota symbol (driver side).

Retro...cut off the tabs and glue it.

Thanks for all your input it seems everyone has there personal style and if i decide to put any emblem on i'll just pick something i like. Personally i like each and everyone's choices i believe they all look great.

You don't need an emblem, Canadian models are all 4 wheel drive :)

How go's the search for a bumper? It makes the best emblem :)

I found a local shop that can order me an ARB bumper and i could probably get the OME lift through them if i decide on that particular lift.

Thats an 80's emblem.. Hey Hey Hey Hey.....

Wrong.

And you've got it on the wrong side of the vehicle, doofus.
So F'n what? I have one on the front fender of my 60..
