Wrapped up my electrical system rebuild and it’s a total game changer. I couldn’t quite fit the second 320Ah Dakota lithium under the Trekboxx side wing, but the setup still came out clean and pretty stealthy. I can also pull it out easily if I ever want to run just one battery. Tested it on a 4-day camping trip staying put the whole time and ran an electric stovetop, Starlink, espresso machine, air fryer, electric blankets, phone chargers, and outdoor lights, and it only used about 30 percent capacity. Feels awesome not having to worry about power at all, plus I’ve got dual redundancy for jump starting the starter battery (battery isolator with solenoid to the secondary battery under the hood or ability to charge the main battery using the lithiums in the back) . Planning to pick up a SurRon or Talaria soon to hit the trails and be able to charge it right off the system.
