I have a r151 23 spline chain driven electric shift transfer case for my '85 4Runner installed which plays up all of the time. Is highly unreliable. I have purchased a manual transfer case from a '97 4runner and was told it was told it would bolt up. Well it doesn't, the bloody thing has a 26 spline input shaft
. It appears to have same dimensions in other respects. Would anybody know if the R151 Electric Shifting 23 Spline Transfer case INPUT SHAFT would fit into the manual transfer case before I do the work. Basically, can I swap them over?
