Anyone have an electric pusher fan in there piggy?
I need to install one since there I will not be able to use the stock fan/clutch with my current setup. The PO istall a later model pump that uses the larger fan and clutch, when installed it hits the radiator. Probably the easiest thing to do is install a earlier water pump, but it doesn't have the provisons for an oil cooler.
He or she put two smaller electric fans in front of the radiator, which were poor quality. One of the fans was unbalanced and caused the fan to vibrate rubbing holes in of few of the cores and taking out some fins. Trashed a looks like a new radiator.
Anywho I would like to install one larger pusher fan in front of the radiator, since there is no room on the back side. Any success stories ou there, part sources?
Normally I would venture through the junkyards to find what I need, but this state has no pick n pulls and that really sucks............I need to go back to California!
