GREAT DAY WHEELING!!!
Started out kinda gloomy, bit the sun came out around noon and it was beautiful!!!
Rusty dan and I caravanned down and met up w/ mark at the smiths at 9.
Apparently some folks from reno4x4 had planned a run for today as well. Nice guys that we ended up running most of the trail with.
So, no one else showed up by 930, so we split and headed into the trail.
Nothing too exciting to mention! It was a great day, great people and a BLAST being out and on the trail.
This was my new pups (wrigley) first run. I took some of the easy lines on the trail for a bit, but jumped into it later. He did great!

Can't wait for more trails this summer!!!

Wanted to get out on this run, but made a commitment to my girlfriend to hit up an exercise class with her this morning. Looked like a great day to be on a trail. I think we're overnighting at Berlin next weekend. Want to get out camping and relax by a fire.

Only thing that IS a difficult transition is the NOISE of the 40 when on the road doing HWY speeds!
Driving in a TIN CAN is LOUD!!!!
I see now why Rusty has ear plugs! Itll be interesting heading down to Death Valley next month w/ my buddy Jeff riding with me to see if we can even carry on a conversation.

Baby steps. We're getting in shape for hiking Mt. Rose at the end of the summer. Gotta start somewhere. Glad y'all had a great wheeling trip. Really want to meet Wrigley soon.

No passengers (except canines who are UNION WORKERS and DO NOT work on the weekends) and no spotting situations for photo ops!!
Dan had a few, but he was tail gunner at those times! (sorry Dan...payback for you and Shawn BOLTING on the bronco run!!)
