I got an email from Ehsan today stating that in 18 hours he would have some "good" news.

So getting back to a topic I posted a while back about the stains in my top. I have tried to remove them with everything but they will not come out. I have tried to sent Ehsan and email but no response for three weeks.
I am not satisfied with my top as the stains are not acceptable for the $500 I have spent so far.
Has anyone else who ordered a top notice a stain from the black zipper material. The stains match perfectly with the way the top was folded when I received it. It seems that the black die bled onto the white top.

No one else got a white vinyl top.
I didn't have any zipper stains, but I do have pen marks on my gray vinyl top. Kind of sucks, but I'm happy overall. I understand you're frustrations though Reedo. I have not really tried to remove the pen marks yet. Thought they may fade off.
I had succes with turtle wax on hard plastics to restore sheen and take away oxidation. Perhaps that may take some of the stain off. I'm assuming you tried many other vinyl cleaners. What about orange, citrus type cleaners, they have very little side effeects. May remove the stain.

But I don't think to top color is the problem, just maybe more noticeable on the white.
I thought there were two white vinyl tops ordered?

It did not ship. I am told that there are paperwork issues because this is an order where no money is changing hands and apparently the Customs people in Pakistan have a problem with that.
I understand that it should be worked out by the end of the week.
When TLC starts selling factory-style tops for $2,500.00 each, you'll appreciate what your $500.00 bought.
I'm sorry about your ink stains, but here's a friendly suggestion: Lower your BP and move on.

Apart from the zipper staining, how do you like the quality of the vinyl? Good quality thickness, sturdy feel to the material, solid feeling strong zippers etc? I already have the bows and I am thinking about ordering a black vinyl one if the quality is good. P.S. It looks good on your rig.

I got white vinyl too, same zipper stains. I havent really tried to get it off yet, but its not too bad
Ehsan, thats one thing you can try to work on or use some other color for the zippers other than black on the white tops
The top is extremely well made, aside from the stains and pen marks it is an awesome addition to the short bus. Besides, the zipper marks give it character

From what I've seen, the zippers on the vinyl tops are different than the canvas tops. One vinyl top showed up with a broken zipper pull floating around in the bag.
I do think that the vinyl tops look sturdier than the canvas ones. There was a black vinyl top that was with this order and it was awesome. It was very thick and it had OD green canvas sewed on the inside to protect where the bows would rub. Maybe I can gets some pix of it. It was included for a guy who bought a top last year, but his rear window was crooked, so Ehsan replaced it. I don't think the guy is on Mud.

I think the best upgrade that Ehsan could do is upgrade the zippers. Metal tooth zippers with better pull tabs would rawk da hizzle. The plastic zipper on mine is Ok, but I definitely treat it with kid gloves as not to either break the pull tab or split the zipper trying to crank it down.
The vinyl tops are definitely uber-sturdy, Im really happy with the quality of the top and the workmanship. My only beef is the quality of the zipper and the pen marks & zipper stains, and thats mostly cuz my top is white
