I have a later style where the flanged pipe bolts to rear part of the exhaust manifold.

My truck is a 78’, however this exhaust manifold might be a 79? I need an egr, cooler & pipe. I might need the longer pipe to the manifold? (Question for the experts…I’m replacing headers with this exhaust manifold,(trying to pass CA smog) will the exhaust & intake need to be machined to match)?

Thanks matzell, it turns out that my exhaust manifold is a later model, so I needed the longer pipe version.
