I just recently had an experience at Ed Martin Toyota that I wanted to share. I had bought an Old Man Emu basic lift from a member here and got it installed without releasing the KDSS. However, upon getting an alignment scheduled, seized bolts seized the alignment.
I worked for many days trying to loosen the lower control arm bolts. 2 of 4 came free, but was concerned for alignment adjustment still. I finally caved after the boss intervened.
One PM to Eric at Ed Martin and he had me scheduled with John Mills from there Service department. Not enough nice things about John And his team, Johnathan (sp?) the tech that worked on my LC.
They were prepared with all parts ready for the inevitable, Including the dreaded KDSS replacement.
Long story long, they were able to keep my LCAs, free the KDSS, and also magically had some Bud Built Diamond plate Steps in stock.
I passed on the Harrop, but that was a tempting box.....
The results upon arriving at home.
Ed Martin was great and acted as though I was in my own garage and deciding the best path both time and money wise. Thanks, to all involved!! Eric, John, and Johnathan.
