I was having trouble with the transmission (starting in 3rd gear but able to use the shifter manually from 1st to 3rd, inability to shift into 4th). Seemingly, it was an issue with the solenoid(s). The transmission shop had no way to read any codes and couldn't help. After purchasing different readers and adapters, it turned out to be solved with a paper clip and flash codes. It gave me a code 14 which didn't make any sense given the issues that I was having, then I noticed the "OD off" light flashing on and off that told me that it was likely a bad ECU. When I pulled that, I found that one of the capacitors had ruptured and leaked on the motherboard, frying a couple of the circuits. I replaced the ECU, and she cranked right up and drove fine without any reprogramming.

Hey man,
Glad you got yours back up and running! I'm having the exact same issue and I'm wondering where you got your replacement ECU from?
I have the same vehicle as you. One of my capacitors appears to have leaked too but it doesn't seem to bad. Still getting O/D OFF flashing with error code 63 and 64 nonetheless. Thanks for any help!
